Here’s all you need to know before you show up for your first Sunday gathering: come as you are.
You don’t need a manual to figure out how to fit in.
Jesus simply says: “Come to me,” and we say the same. Just come as you are!
Our gatherings are sixty-five minutes long, with time for connection, worship, and a message from one of our pastors. For families, we offer a secure (and fun!) kids environment called Freedom Kids which welcomes nursery-age through 5th grade students. If it’s your first time here, feel free to pre-register your kids to make check-in a breeze!
We are so excited to meet you!

Freedom Church’s story began as a step of faith.
Our lead pastors, Wade and Dawn Haskins followed the call of God to Maryland. Pastor Wade is originally from Houston TX, but developed a heart for the east coast when he first came to Baltimore to become a youth pastor in 1998, after marrying his wife Dawn.
Wade and Dawn are the vision carriers of Freedom, which is to reach our region and beyond with the life-transforming message of Jesus. Freedom is a house of prayer and worship, where all generations can passionately pursue God’s presence until heaven meets earth.
They have a daughter and son-in-law, Ariel and Garrett, who faithfully serve at Freedom, and live in Harford County with their English bulldog, Polly (but she answers to Biscuit).
We call our services, gatherings. They are 65 minutes long with friendly greeters, Jesus-centered worship, and a life-giving message from God’s Word.
You will be warmly welcomed by our Dream Team. As a first time guest, we call you our VIP! During the gathering you’ll hear us talk about you and an opportunity to meet after the gathering in the lobby. We’d love to talk about your Freedom experience and give you a gift as a thank you for coming.
Come once, you’re a guest. Come twice, you’re family! We love Jesus and people. We drink a ton of free coffee, talk and laugh a lot. Our prayer is that you leave better than when you came in.
There isn’t a dress code at Freedom. Come in whatever is comfortable to you!
On Sundays, our gatherings are for 7th grade and up. Infants up to 6th grade have environments made just for them. Find out more at our Freedom Kids page.
During the week, Student Groups for middle and high school meet at each campus. Find out more here.
We know that meeting new people can be challenging – but it doesn’t have to be! We are a church of groups. Community Groups help you friends who share your same interests. Also, when you attend Growth Track, you’ll have the chance to serve on our Dream Team. Getting on a team is the fastest (and most fulfilling) way to meet and connect with others.
The best way to find out about Freedom Church is to experience us for yourself. We hope to meet you soon!
